Every year Franciscan sends out over 200 students on mission across the globe. Students have the opportunity to apply for mission trips at the beginning of the academic year, and they commit to serving over spring and summer breaks. Mission trips include several different types of ministries, such as medical ministry, homeless ministry, street evangelization, teaching ministry and relational ministry.
Mission trips don’t have to go far to find souls in need of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Works of Mercy, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, enables students to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the hungry, sick, imprisoned, homeless, and strangers right here in the Ohio Valley and nearby Pittsburgh.
Student Evangelization Networking Teams (SENT) strives to bring the light of Christ and the Joy of the Gospel to young people. Teams of vibrant, passionate and authentic college students are SENT out to parishes, schools and dioceses to share the love they have for Christ.
Join Franciscan University Pilgrimages as we visit destinations throughout the world where faith is strengthened, spirits are encouraged, and souls are renewed.
Most people would say that their relationship with God is not where they would like it to be, but many also feel unsure of how to change it.
